The story follows a former member of a ninja clan who quit to live a quiet life with his wife and son. One fateful night, his family dies after being attacked by a mysterious organization. The man is tormented by the aftermath, wondering why he survived instead of his wife and son. Embracing his anger, he swears vengeance on the organization. Meanwhile, FBI agent Mike and his rookie partner Emma get assigned to investigate the murders. Mike is convinced there is more to this case than meets the eye and doggedly pursues leads to uncover the nefarious truth behind it all. However, the shadow organization is backed by a large corporation with access to cutting-edge technology and they go on the offensive with high-tech battle suits known as “Gusoku Gear”! Among their ranks is someone with even greater ambitions that aim to realize hegemony on a global scale. Who is the mastermind behind it all? The curtains will rise on this dramatic story of revenge.
