Norsemen is an epic comedy set in the Viking era, said to be a cross between Monty Python and Game Of Thrones. The year is 790 and we follow everyday life in the village of Norheim, where a Roman named Rufus is taken as a slave. He was a cultural figure in his homeland, but finds that the values he brings with him don’t impress the Vikings. Throughout the series, the residents of Norheim experience political rivalry, social change and are challenged by new modern trends, such as soft values and art, that upend their culture and way of life.
